London based indie-poppers SUN SILVA dropped their debut single ‘Blue Light’ this week, perfect timing really as it slots in nicely with a headline show at The Lexington, tonight (Sept 4th).

For a debut ‘Blue Light’ is making a big impression being selected to feature on the FIFA 19 soundtrack and getting support from DIY Magazine. The song delivers a horn-led pop sound and its effortlessly dreamy vocals take aim at the social media use of today.

On the track frontman Oscar Gormley says; “’Blue Light’ is about how social media dominates so many young people’s lives. The song is about how this freaks me out and it reminisces on simpler times.”

SUN SILVA have already built up a strong fan base as staples on London’s live scene and with a sound that is reminiscent of the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, and Tame Impala it’s no wonder why.
