Indie band Lone Wild formed in 2015 under the name The Fairweather, however in recent years have been reinventing themselves and in turn have shared the stage with some high profile acts. Through a steady stream of releases the band have now polished their sound – A mixture of 80s synth pop with a modern indie rock twist.
Latest single ‘Sequin Dress’ is an infectious jam with huge anthemic choruses and gorgeous disco inspired synth lines. There is a undercurrent of rock influence in the way the backing vocals compliment the choruses and the pulsing drums, Lone Wild can do no wrong with this track. Its clean and crisp, it bops and it sways its way through three and half minutes of hip swinging sing-a-long fun.
