‘Reset’ is the title track from multi-instrumentalist & singer-songwriter Mark Zito’s new EP. The Melbourne native has been releasing music under the moniker of Fractures for some time now and is coming through with an elegant mix of hazy guitars and nuanced electronics. The ‘Reset’ EP came out on Jan 25 and features five stunning additions to Fractures’ catalogue.
The latest offering brings Zito’s haunting vocals to the forefront and although the track starts with a level of production that points the track down a more indie-electro path, nattering chorus-heavy guitars quickly kick in to steer ‘Reset’ down an overall more dream-pop avenue. There is an element of the bedroom artist about this project but the production is so crisp that it quashes that notion with haste. Check out the ‘Reset’ EP streaming everywhere now.
