It has been a busy time for Sea Girls recently, the band have just signed to Polydor Records, announced a HUGE UK tour and recently launched latest single ‘Damage Done’ as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record. Today however the band pick up another massive feather to add to their cap as Yack!’s Track Of The Day. There is plenty look forward to as well for the band as their tour sees them headline London’s Kentish Town Forum on October 10th as well as a range of major festivals through the summer months. It would be a good guess to say you’ll be hearing a lot more of these guys over the next few months and it is fully justified attention.

‘Damage Done’ is a powerful indie rock track with an anthem sized chorus. It really is an underlining of the incredible talent these guys exude, their songwriting is thoughtful and their songs are constructed with an absolute precision that lets songs like ‘Damage Done’ to stand out a real heavy hitters. If your toes aren’t tapping by the end of this one there is possibly something wrong with you, its energy is not only massive but infectious and leaves the listener with little option than to be drawn in by its charm. This single really marks a massive turning point for Sea Girls that will surely see them as household names sooner rather than later.
