Chicago’s Little Church are emerging with their latest single ‘Last Night’. The band described themselves as as “a smattering of art pop, rawk, soul, and gentle, gentle Eskimo kisses by a bear-shaped robot that can’t control its voltage.” Forming in 2016, Little Church have picked up numerous amount of praise on their journey and now with the new single announce their upcoming EP due for release at the end of the month.
‘Last Night’ opens as a delicate rock song that teeters on the edge of something powerful. Prominent and gorgeous vocals lead the way and set the tone for an impassioned performance from the band. The sound hints at 80s pop sound whilst keeping to a alternative rock foundation and sparkling synths wash the track in beautiful glittering sound that sets the single into a territory of its own.
