We’re back in the game with a neat little debut from Essex based Micky Niner. At just 20 years old the solo artist emerges with a slick first offering and shows that he has bags of potential. ‘Teenage Disaster’ dropped last week, and is a quintessential indie pop tune – Catchy, fun and full of hooks.
Micky wrote and recorded every instrument himself as well as producing and mixing the whole track in his make shift home studio, although this comes across as very much a bedroom recording it adds to the charm. With a video and a four-track EP in the pipeline we’re keen to see what this young artist has to give.
