Little Thief – A Bristol based three-piece have been steadily plugging away on the UK live circuit for some time but now release their debut single in the form of ‘Me & My Monster’. A driving, pulsating track full of the energy you might expect to find with a QOTSA track, ‘Me & My Monster’ is the band’s first taster of their EP due for release this spring.
As far as keeping it simple goes ‘Me & My Monster’ really nails it on the head, led throughout by a simple riff that is catchy, energetic and bouncy whilst maintaining a strong, grungy tone. Singer, Charlie Fitzgerald says the song was written about “trying to fend off your demons…or at least keep them at bay” and with little musical gems like this in your life that shouldn’t be too hard.
