Following on from the release of their recent singles ‘Snowfall’ and ‘The War’, East London-based duo Hi Frisco now look to their brand new release ‘Gold’ to further mark their name as ones to watch.
The new single gives a lo-fi feeling but there is clearly much more thought gone into the making of this one than roughing it up around the edges. The guitar riffs feel purposefully gritty but their rhythms deliver an hugely catchy hook that sticks and the vocals give a deeper, brooding feeling to the track. ‘Gold’ is diverse and infectious and has all the qualities to take Hi Frisco to the next level.
