It’s not so often you get a band from York, especially one that creates such amazing sounds. That is exactly what four-piece slacker rock band Bull are doing and showing it off in style with their new single ‘Eugene’. Already receiving praise from the usual high profile names that put themselves next to every band with a glimmer of potential, Bull go one step further by actually making the kind of noise that deserves to be noticed.
‘Eugene’ has your typical chilled vibes, the ones you would expect from this genre and, unlike every other band that would probably call Mac DeMarco their biggest influence, Bull actually come through with a heap of originality, bringing in distinct vibes from every decade since the 60s – And with another few listens either further. The dynamic is off beat and fresh, while there are the typical nuances of this chill rock genre that glue the track together very, very neatly.
