NYC rockers Black Suit Youth recently released ‘Stalking In Memphis’, the second track from their latest album ‘False South’. The quartet are a no-frills rock band with ripping guitars and a massive rhythm section that drives through the middle of all their songs.
There is a hint of The Offspring about Black Suit Youth, although this comes on a heavier plain with simply effective riffs and pounding drums that give the new track its thumping heartbeat. The vocal soars through the choruses of ‘Stalking In Memphis’ with an intensity that is rounded off with a gritty edge. There’s no strings attached with this track, its a straight up, energetic rock track that deserves a listen.
