Forming in 2015, Leeds trio Badminton have been releasing music under a few different names, ultimately sticking with Badminton. The band have been on the bill with some stellar artists with recent support slots for the likes of King Nun, Glass Caves and more. Now the band give us their new EP ‘Try Getting A Reservation At Dorsia Now’ and latest single ‘I Was, You Were’.

The new release is classic indie rock at its finest with muted guitar riffs and some real pop sensibilities creeping in. Badminton really bring in through sounds like The 1975 or Pale Waves, the guitars develop into something a little more jangly which instantly brings the track to life and pushing an upbeat energy through out. This one is a proper dancer that has an utterly catching and playful feeling and should really set a fire beneath these guys for the rest of the year.
