Joe Devine has clearly tapped into something heavenly, from the very first second ‘Too Far Gone’ introduces a richly atmospheric sound that is so tightly interwoven it would be nearly impossible to pick apart all the threads.

This is filthy, it’s fresh, and it’s ferocious. If this is the shape of the scene to come in the wake of groups like Run The Jewels there is about to be a rap renaissance.

With its tight and intricate multisyllabic rhyme schemes ‘Battle Of The Mind’ is a track that can rekindle the fire that may have smouldered out in many a hip hop head.
