Stats have been a little busy recently, having just signed to Memphis Industry, the London based outfit also shared the new of their debut album coming on Feb 15th – For now we have this little nugget of joy from the band, their latest single ‘The Family Business’
Channeling the 80s sad boy vibe of The Cure, Stats take this sound and add a charming, and altogether happier edge to it. At times the vocals feel reminiscent of Jarvis Cocker and which only further underlines this typically British pop groove that Stats are making right now. With shows across the UK people should be lining up to get on board with this bad – A clearly defined sound executed with pin-point precision.
