Liverpool’s Seatbelts come through with their first offering for 2019 with their new single ‘Spanish Songs’. It emerges as the second single from their upcoming EP, ‘Please Slow Down’ and follows on from a busy 2018 which saw the quartet release their debut body of work ‘Songs For Vonnegut’.
‘Spanish Songs’ is an upbeat slice of nostaglic pop-rock with a distinct and expected element of Spanish flair. There is playful vocal with a beautiful female voice pulling through with some wonderful Spanish lyrics whilst contrasting this with an 90s infused male vocal and Steve Harley-esque backing vocals. With more to come from their new EP Seatbelts are really starting to make an impression on the scene – Stay tuned.
