There isn’t much to say about this track other than it is full-on American punk, with all the feelings of a dingy Seattle club in the 80s. This is of course no bad thing. Love In October are an indie rock band from Chicago that blend riff-heavy fuzzed-out guitars, with pop hooks. Their new album ‘Shapes’ will be available in Feb.
‘I Don’t Want To Die Tonight’ is full throttle from the beginning, an unrelenting wave of aggressive sound. The guitars a big and gritty, whilst the vocal offers a semi-melodic Mistfits-esque quality to the track. You can really imagine the energy that this song would give off when played live, a no frills 1 minute and 54 second explosion of noise. Nice.
