It’s not so often that singer songwriters really catch our attention, but Nashville based rocker Jack Berry managed to turn out heads with his latest release ‘Mad Behaviour’. Having plied his trade over the last few years on the live circuit, appearing on the bills of many high profile festivals stateside, Berry has built a strong core following with a brand of folk infused alt rock.
The new single has its foundations firmly rooted in the sound of americana and country but what Jack Berry does with some ease is layer grizzly guitars and pulsing drums beats to pull through a much heavier, rawer sound. His gravelly, gritty vocal is on full display on ‘Mad Behaviour’ and in the choruses it takes a much heavier turn, almost growling his own honest lyrics.
