Here is a brand new band with a brand new track, Brighton based three piece Gnarlah and their debut single ‘Find My Design’. Raised on a host of rock music the band find inspiration from the more melodic offerings of Biffy Clyro and Demob Happy, and open their account with a heavy dose of alt rock.
The riff heavy ‘Find My Design’ has moments that are reminiscent of an early INME, with the mix of powerful and technical riffs overlaid with a tuneful vocal performance. There is an altogether more substantial sound that comes from these guys, as the song develops it moves into noisier terrain, the musical fist clenches tighter and smashes through in a big way. These guys have targeted down on the sort of music they want to create and if their subsequent releases are as dynamic as ‘Find My Design’ we’ll be ready to hear a lot more of them in the coming year.
