Namdose is the coming together of Belguim’s BRNS and French band Ropoporose, calling themselves a ‘supergroup’. They are a group and they are super so a fair description. The new single ‘Woe’ comes accompanied with a beautiful, artistically driven video which you can watch above.
The choruses emerges as a cacophony of noise with an almost Foals- equse vocal, but the track begins in a different vein glitchy synths lead us into a heavily math rock influenced moment. And here I do mean moment, in fact the whole song feels split into moments where different influences shine through. There are indie-pop leaning sections, noise rock sections, math rock sections, sing-a-long anthemic sections, there is something for everyone in this diverse and intricate track.
