Here is a short and sweet little number from Austrian born singer-songwriter Anna Friedberg. Having been discovered by none other than the legendary Lenny Kravitz, the band were promptly whisked away to support him on tour. With deals in place with major labels over the last few years there was a growing frustration which led to a relocation and now the band emerge fully formed and ready to go.
Latest single ‘Boom’ channels a real punk attitude encased in a gorgeous sense of brooding calm. The track keeps on on edge with a feeling of imminent noise, but it keeps its cool and keeps your attention fixed, fuzzed-out guitars create this sense of what’s to come. However it holds onto this sense of pent-up energy throughout it’s two minutes and nineteen seconds and simply leaves you begging for more by the end.
