Auckland’s Bad Jones have given us their new release ‘Glass Eye’, the second single from their debut EP ‘You Are All Animals’ that was released earlier this month. The band shine on this attitude filled, punk track and for an early offering ‘Glass Eye’ really shows off the band’s aptitude for song writing.
In ‘Glass Eye’ you can find alittle bit of something for anyone interested in guitar driven music, there are big riffs, screams, huge choruses and melodic hooks. At its heart ‘Glass Eye’ is probably built around punky alt rock but as its nuances develop there are hints of hardcore influence and heavy metal tropes show themselves on what has shown to be a diverse and fist pounding new single from Bad Jones.
