Today’s Featured Artist Friday see’s Yack getting under the skin of southern three-piece, Kilkovec.
Coming out of Hampshire, Kilkovec are an alternative punk band that formed in the summer of 2012. Consisting of Dan Wilson, Matt Stroud and Matt Kelly, Kilkovec created their own brand of punk rock and released their debut E.P ‘Name Your Place’ last year.
Kilkovec have been making waves in the public eye, being nominated for ‘Best Rock Band’ at the Exposure Music Awards, as well as playing a number of shows, including support slots for I Divide and Yearbook.
The band are currently writing and recording their second release, which has been described by Dan, Matt and Matt as a collection of ‘more personal and emotive songs’.
