What better than a smooth little number from down under as a Track Of The Day this Wednesday. ‘Swimming Laps’ is the first release from Melbourne based Low Key Crush, and it is a remarkably accomplished one. It’s not always easy to turn heads with your first release but the Aussie trio emerge with such a beautifully laid back sound that they will surely be grabbing a lot of attention in the coming year.

‘Swimming Laps’ is hella melodic, and soft guitars set the scene for a hazy, relaxed vocal performance that whisks you away into a dream world. The single doesn’t go overboard with fancy production and it simply doesn’t need to, all the elements of this track pull together in the same chilled and purposefully nonchalant direction. If there is an EP in the works we want to know, keep your eye on these guys they have more to give.
