Swedish raised, Berlin based Emma Elisabeth continues to stake a a claim as a serious artist to watch with her latest single ‘What A Waste’ – A guitar fuelled pop tune. Last year Emma Elisabeth took to the stage at SXSW as well as supporting for the likes of Sunflower Bean and L.A. Witch.
There’s a touch of the nineties about Emma Elisabeth’s work, it hints at acts like No Doubt whilst channeling more recent artists such as Dream Wife and takes on it’s own superbly melodic edge. The verses jangle around with elegance and a dreamy atmosphere, while the choruses bring through a grittier, contrasting sound. It all culminates into a really interesting piece of music that has a moment for everyone.
