Formed in Brighton from the ashes of their respective bands past, the members of Knife Club have come together with a new approach. Spending a year behind the scenes before releasing a track, Knife Club have been working tireless to hone in their sound – With a handful of releases already painting a picture, the trio now come through with their latest single ‘Castles’.
There is a brooding, moodiness from the outset with ‘Castles’, the vocals have a certain dissonance against the guitars that create an air of mystery. As the track develops, a finely crafted Alt Rock sound shines through with huge choruses and loud, gritty guitars taking the spotlight. Underneath this wall of sound lays a deep groove and rhythm that carries you along, makes you move and wiggles its way into your mind.
