Rising out of Canada quicker than a Lodgepole Pine (that’s a reference to trees), j ember brings through a stunner in ‘Nothing Left’ continuing to prove himself worthy of the attention coming his way.

The track  navigates through a number of different soundscapes, touching in on different genres without pledging allegiance to any. A shining example of carefully crafted indie that lays a solid foundation for j ember’s intoxicating vocals to take centre stage.

Speaking on the track, j ember states: “I’m always trying to preserve memories in my music, trying to recreate moments that won’t happen again, and capture feelings that I can’t seem to channel anymore. Nothing Left is an ode to immortality. I wrote & produced the record with Losh. For this one, we were heavily influenced by the music I grew up on – Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Though the essence of the record exists in a folk / singer-songwriter realm, we made sure the production still felt fresh.”
