We’ve been following these little beauties for a while now and it seems with each new release Gaffa Tape Sandy add another layer of charm and charisma to their sound. Latest single ‘So Dry’ brings this in heaps and puts the bands name in contention for all the most meaningful end of year lists already. The trio bring so much to the table on this one that it seems fitting that they find themselves playing a 45 minute set on the Flying Bus stage in The Unfairground at this year’s Glastonbury.

There aren’t too many songs that come from emerging bands that catch your attention like ‘So Dry’ and in all honesty this goes a long way to being one of my favourite tracks of this year so far. It is as catchy as it is grungy with clever licks and melodies that make the single so incredibly captivating. With output like this coming so regularly from Gaffa Tape Sandy you can see big things in their immediate future and it’s fully justified.
