Four-piece indie band Walden release the first cut from their upcoming EP ‘The Static’ ready for release on April 5. Quite amusingly the band won the Road to Roo twice, winning the opportunity to play Bonnaroo, unfortunately the first time they won they were also disqualified for being too young. This goes a long way to show just how early these guys have defined their sound.
‘Axioms’ is a mellow and dreamy offering from the young band, creating a gorgeous sonic atmosphere, the guitars are clear and definitive creating a subtle bed of noise for a superb vocal to sit upon. The track sways as it glides along creating a vast feeling in your headphones but all the while being purposefully driven by the drums.
