Here’s a saucy little video for your Tuesday, the new visuals for ‘Patterns’ comes from Austin, TX based trio Sphynx. Long-time fixtures of their local music scene, Sphynx have been honoured with a City Hall proclamation declaring February 13 ‘Sphynx Day’ in Austin – which is pretty rad to be honest.
‘Patterns’ is a swirling, funky little number, with a superb vocal performance fully at the fore. The track now comes with a super fun retro-tinged video which perfectly fits their vibe. A pretty captivating four minutes to occupy yourself with.
After years of relentless touring it seems that the secret is out, with the band having a breakout year in 2017, releasing 2 EPs and playing packed venues and festivals across the US. Later this month they will make their second visit to the UK in 2018, their first having seen the band selling out their first London headline date at The Troubadour.
