Fuck yeah, this is what I’m talking about – New single from Shadow Of Death is a slice of old school hardcore. The band seem to have their fingers in bunch of other pies, namely rap and production profiles on Soundcloud, so maybe this is the work of a ‘Soundcloud Band’. I don’t know so much about that, but what I do know is that this track is pure BR00TZ, it’s as aggressive as it is full of chugging full blooded guitars, reminiscent of ‘Count Your Blessings’ era Bring Me The Horizon.
There is just all the classic hallmarks of a hardcore track, although it wouldn’t necessarily stand-out as a classic it will surely make it on my personal playlists. ‘Always’ is a superb track, with everything you want from this genre, but are you going to be able to catch this band live, to live this track in a soak filled basement somewhere? I wouldn’t count on it.
