Cornwall’s L I P S have been receiving a lot of praise around their last two releases from BBC Introducing and the online world and now the band release their latest offering ‘Sunken’. Just the third release from the band that look set to really establish themselves this year with the early plaudits really going a long way to L I P S getting their name on the map. The band also graced the stage at Boardmasters, Leopallooza and Little Orchards last year as well as picking up over 100k streams across streaming platforms.
Latest single ‘Sunken’ is a jangly little number, it holds upbeat energy whilst having a slightly deeper, atmospheric feeling. There is a gorgeous vocal that washes over the track like a moody sunset while playful guitars noodle around with an effortless flow. The rhythms and melodies combine to add a pulsing element to the track that simple forces you to engage with the track on an emotional and physical level. More top stuff form a band that will be going places.
