So it turns out THAT face tattoo was fake, but what a way to get peoples attention, and also have a stab and the shock celebrity culture that our social feeds are full of every day. Just reading the comments has to make you laugh, the keyboard warriors came out in force on this one, but what lays beneath is a really really great indie pop track.
Kelsy Karter channels the sounds of yesteryear and although ‘Harry’ is more of a criticism of modern culture it still finds itself tapping into the pop sounds of the 60s and 70s. Karter comes through with a simply beautiful, warm vocal that compliments the nostalgic sounds of ‘Harry’ perfectly. The chorus is an absolute bop and the track as a whole deserve more attention than what a fake tattoo has given it.
