There seems to be more and more brilliant music coming out of Newcastle in the last year or so and the new single from Fast Blood is no exception. For a debut release ‘You’ certainly makes a serious statement from a band that has been honing their live show for a little over a year now.
‘You’ opens with a kind of punk aggression that is softened by an energetic and passionate vocal. Whilst the music remains fairly punchy throughout the overall sound of the track takes a far more melodic turn through its choruses. ‘You’ stays true to its punk roots but offers so much more besides.
