Leeds based alt-rock band Askies delivered their new single at the end of June. ‘Easy’ is the third single from the band, who have quickly earned a lot of praise – Even selling out two hometown shows last year.
‘Easy’ is a super clean, super tight example of indie and alt cross over. The vocal growls enough to give the track a little flavour but keeps its cleaner tone at the foundation of the performance. The production of ‘Easy’ allows the bass guitar and drums to really drive the rhythm home, leaving an energetic feeling to bubble away underneath a layer of snarling alt-rock. It looks like there are bright things to come for these guys so keep your ears to the ground.
