Coming from their debut album, Kansas based Hembree release their new single ‘Almost’ – One that we’ve made our Track Of The Day. With strong support over the last year from the likes of Rolling Stone, the band are going from strength to strength and not bad timing with the first album on it’s way. Beyond press, Hembree have earned themselves over a million streams as well as being synced on Apple advert, all the while touring the UK for the first time.
‘Almost’ has that feeling of fuzzed out 70s rock about it, scuzzy guitars lead the way with a groovy feel. The atmosphere is soon changed with subtle changes in the guitar patterns giving a much poppier, upbeat feel. The vocals are truly infectious as catchy hooks draw you into the brand of pop rock that Hembree are turning heads with. ‘Almost’ is toe-tappingly fun whilst maintain a grittier rock edge, a combination that will surely stand these guys apart from the crowd this year.
