Dorvin Borman is a twenty-something multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer based in Los Angeles and his new track ‘In A Field So Far Away’ emerges with a bold and accomplished edge. Heavily influenced by elements of psych-pop and with glorious hints of dream-pop Borman opens up a huge soundscape for us to indulge in.
Opening with wavy synth lines and a rushing drum beat, ‘In A Field So Far Away’ quickly develops into a well rounded and thoughtful little number. It’s as catchy as it is whacky and Borman holds his influences close to his heart whilst carving a cleary defined lane for his brand of sleek dreamy pop to stand out in on its own.
