I think you may forgive the lack of a press shot from these guys, The Pierce Project are made up of three brothers aged just 15, 16 and 21 but their youthful take on songwriting holds a wonderful charm. With just a handful of songs out in the public’s eyes and ears it feels like the brothers have already found their sound.
Although heavily influenced by the music of the 60s and 70s, there is a Weezer-ish feel to ‘Rolling Down The Stairs’, from a deliberately lazy and melancholic vocal to the subtly ambiguous nature of their lyrics. This, of course, is all backed by a dreamy soundscape that allows these shining features stand out. With a little bit of time these guys could blossom into something quite special.
