Tallbird hail from Brooklyn and ‘Not At All’ is their new, and wonderfully dynamic, single. Their sound is described as being ‘influenced by 90s bubblegum pop, filtered through a contemporary dream-pop haze’ and you can’t disagree, although there are hints of punk and bands like Pixies.
The vocals really set this song out, adding a layer of delicacy over the top of lively, jangled guitars. The drums bubble away under the surface bringing a poppy, vibrant feel to the track and the vocal melodies truly add that bubblegum influence that the band reference.
