Springfield Elementary are the latest shining lights of indie music coming out of Manchester and their new single ‘Doctor Doctor’ is a perfect example of the raw alt-rock the four-piece are producing.
Having been praised by the likes of Huw Stephens already, it seems that Springfield Elementary are well on their way to national recognition. ‘Doctor Doctor’ is a neat blend of heavier grunge tones with a rather catchy pop feeling that bubbles under the surface. The vocals are stripped back to an authentic growl that compliment the fuzzed-out guitars brilliantly and add heaps of character to the whole thing.
