The new single from German five-piece Some Sprouts is a serious jam. ‘She Longs For You’ comes ahead of a huge tour of German covering nineteen dates and there’s talk of the guys making their way overseas for a string of shows – We’re hoping there is a date in London cause these guys have a wickedly nostalgic feel about them.
It’s as if Some Sprouts are channeling the minds of Bombay Bicycle Club on this one, ‘She Longs For You’ is a clean, upbeat and jangly pop tune. Big melodic baselines and anthemic choruses play even further into the comparisons between Some Sprouts and mostly all indie rock bands from the UK between the years of 2007-2011. Stunning stuff from a band we can’t wait to get more of.
