Letters From The Earth have just released ‘Fences’, the first of two new singles to announce their arrival onto the scene and boy do they make a statement. Their sound is that of a band that have been writing and playing together for decades and Letters From The Earth have really crafted and honed their sound quite perfectly.
You can hear influences from all over the alt-rock, punk and pop punk spectrums and it all comes together to create a energetic and melodic new track in the form of ‘Fences’. The guitars lay a thread throughout the track and provide a driving crunchiness for the rest of the band to feed from. Whilst the guitars give a raw edge to ‘Fences’, the vocals add a sense of delicacy with fluid melodies bringing another dimension to this accomplished debut offering.
