This is another slice of laid back rock from US based Lancer Roscoe, in the form of their new single ‘Forces’. Said to be about “being grounded in those you love when everything else is going wrong”, the single is a beautiful melancholic reflection.
‘Forces’ opens with gorgeous guitars, bright in their tone, flashing away, before a relaxed but emotive vocal draws in. Their are moments of electronic production that just separate the track slightly from other offerings of this nature but it really is the vocal performance that lets this one stand out. ‘Forces’ is a beautiful, relaxed offering from Lancer Roscoe that walks the tight rope between indie and pop quite brlliantly.
