Here is a slice of lofi brilliance from UK based Lack Lustre Rush and their new single ‘True Romance’. This lockdown period seems to have been very fruitful for some artists.
‘True Romance’ has that goth wave, 80s pop sort of feeling to it but it is also laced with contemporary sounding vocals which build this brilliant tone. It is laid back but with enough energy to drive the track forward and its 2 minutes 41 seconds breeze past far too quickly. ‘True Romance’ presents itself as a real stunner with melancholic tones that wash over bright and clean instrumentation in a simple but effective way.
