Formed in 2018, Gardens of Capri is the brain child of California-native Amy Elizabeth Jarrett and her German partner Julian Scharpf. The pair emerge with their debut single ‘Let Go’ full of glossy pop and 70s rock influences.
You are immediately taken into the groove on this track, its basslines pops and give off a sexy, funky jam. The verses feel much more mellow, allowing a sublime dual vocal to take the stage. As the track develops, so does the energy, moving from verse to chorus with a full and crisp dynamic. ‘Let Go’ is a very well formed debut release that is entrancing and infectious in equal measure.
