Are We Hunting’s new single ‘Sort of Like Me’ comes through with a sombre topic that is wholly reflected in the music, however the track also comes along with flashes of optimism. The Americans have made a slow burning, lo-fi jam in this one.
‘Sort of Like Me’ has a constant, pulsing energy throughout the track which gives license to the vocal melodies to drift and sway around a little more. Couple with simple instrumentation the track as a whole oozes with lo-fi, bedroom pop sensibilities whilst also maintaining a serious and credible edge.
