Sometimes in life you’ll stumble upon something you really didn’t want to see, hear, touch or whatever. It can leave you with vicious images of snakes trying to eat alligators, apes tearing apart tiny monkeys, those disturbing snuff scenes from cannibal holocaust and your father in your mothers underwear… But sometimes you find something that erases all of those horrible scenes (the last one needs a little more time)and you want to tell everyone about it.

If you happen to be a fan of the latter then get your chops around this’un.

Radkey are a punk band from St. Joseph, Missouri made up of three teenage brothers: Dee(Lead Guitarist, Vocalist and eldest of the three), Isaiah (bass player), and Solomon (drummer and the baby of the bunch). Other than music the bands interests include Halo, Mario Kart 64, a disturbing amount of movies, beef jerky and a hate for flying insects. When growing up the self-taught trio of brothers decided to form a band using their Inspiration from the music they grew up listening to such as the Misfits, Ramones, The Who, and Death.

With an impressive array of shows under the belt the band also boasts the pleasure of opening for Fishbone, Local H and Supersuckers and performed at the 2012 Afro-punk Festival in Brooklyn New York as well as playing an official 2013 SXSW showcase.

The guys are currently doing a tour (http://bit.ly/radkeytour) of Europe with shows in Germany, France, Austria, Ireland and the UK. All of their shows are online with tickets available. They will be smashing Bedford Esquires on June 14th so don’t miss it.

The band already have three albums in the bag already, the fourth one “Feed My Brain” is on the way with a 7″ to pre-order online.
